Job description

Join this leading food manufacturer as their Cost Accountant, working alongside various departments maintaining standard costs for materials, overheads etc.


This is a newly created role of Cost Accountant that will report to the Commercial Finance Business Partner. This is a large Food Manufacturer that produces sauces, dips and dressings sold into all major UK retailers.


As a Cost Accountant, you will be assisting the Commercial Team driving the commercial success and supporting its growth.


You will produce costings for new product development, annual tenders, etc. Working closely with internal departments, including Commercial, Process, Procurement, and Operations.


To be successful in the role:
  1. Ideally qualified or part qualified with AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
  2. Ideally a minimum of 3 years of Food manufacturing experience; however, a similar financial analysis role within a manufacturing or production will be considered.
  3. Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools and/or systems.
