Cost Accountant

Search Recruitment are partnering with an established business in West Lothian to recruit a Cost Accountant with flexible working. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering financial data regarding cost, production and quality of products. If you're a Part-Qualified Accountant with an analytical approach and strong communication skills looking to join a growing business to develop and strengthen your skill set, you'd be encouraged to apply.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and maintaining costing systems.
2. Ensuring adherence to accounting principles and internal controls.
3. Deliver cost reduction through conduction of cost variance analysis.
4. Preparing and analysing cost report.
5. Supporting in identifying process improvements.
6. Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with accurate cost data.
7. Assisting in the implementation of cost management systems and tools.
8. Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather cost information and provide financial analysis.

Key skills and experience you'll ideally have:

1. Part-qualified Accountant.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
3. Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.
4. Excellent communication skills.
