Corporate Tech & Life Sciences Lawyer

With more than one thousand lawyers worldwide, our international firm client is looking to expand its Corporate Technology and Life Sciences team in London, with the addition of an associate, with between 2-6 PQE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advising investors, companies and management teams on a wide variety of Venture Capital investments, M&A transactions and Private Equity transactions.
2. Cross-border M&A and Joint Venture work.
3. Advising companies at all stages of their lifecycle, from cradle to liquidity. Acting for many of the most high profile investors, from prominent early stage funds and the biggest international venture capital firms, to corporate investors and sovereign wealth funds, as well as many of the most successful early and growth stage investee companies across the world.
4. Working internationally across the major tech hubs, such as the West Coast of USA, Berlin and Amsterdam.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

1. M&A and VC experience from a top tier UK or international Corporate practice.
2. Exits, including IPOs, trade sales and mergers.
3. Incentivisation and employee benefits.
4. Seed capital and subsequent growth financing rounds.
5. Start-up advice.
6. Tax structuring.
7. VC fund formation, in particular cross-border structuring for new funds and investment vehicles.
