Are you a specialist Corporate Tax professional with a proven track record of success? Our client, a leading accountancy firm with a strong reputation for excellence, is seeking an ambitious and strategic Corporate Tax Partner to join their growing team.

EA First is excited to be representing a leading accountancy and advisory firm, based in Northampton who are renowned for their proactive and client-centric approach, the firm serves a diverse client base, from individuals to large enterprises.

As a Corporate Tax Partner, you will play a critical role in leading and developing the firm's UK corporate tax practice. This position requires a deep understanding of complex corporate tax matters, as well as the ability to deliver strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base. You will work closely with the leadership team to drive growth, enhance client relationships, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the corporate tax advisory function, providing strategic guidance on a wide range of corporate tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, international tax, and corporate restructuring.
  • Developing and implementing innovative tax strategies that align with clients' business objectives and add value.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for corporate tax matters.
  • Overseeing the management of work in progress, billing, and profitability for the corporate tax department.
  • Mentoring and developing and recruiting a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the department.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in corporate tax advisory services. You should have a strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead a team while driving the growth and development of the firm's corporate tax offering.

Essential requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: Significant experience in corporate tax, with a proven track record in delivering high-level tax advisory services.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of corporate tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, international tax, and corporate restructuring.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Client Focus: Excellent client-handling abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and deliver innovative tax solutions that meet clients' needs.
