The Work: Where You'll Make an Impact

Corporate Tax professionals for SMEs play a crucial role in shaping the financial and strategic future of their clients. In this role, you'll:

• Be a Trusted Partner: Work closely with business owners and their teams to manage their tax compliance and planning. This includes everything from advising on remuneration strategies to supporting succession planning and restructuring.
• Help Entrepreneurs Navigate Growth: Provide expert guidance on expanding internationally, leveraging intellectual property, and structuring for scalability - all while keeping tax efficiency front of mind.
• Deliver Strategic Advice: Tackle big-picture challenges, such as exit planning, restructuring, international tax issues, Business Asset Disposal Relief, patent box and capital allowance strategies, helping clients achieve their long-term goals.
• Handle Complex Compliance: Oversee the corporate tax compliance process for your clients, ensuring everything runs smoothly and that deadlines are met without a hitch.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work alongside colleagues from other teams, such as VAT and R&D specialists, to provide joined-up solutions that meet the broader needs of your clients.

Who You Are

You're not just a tax technician - you're someone who wants to understand what makes businesses tick and help them thrive. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIOT) and at least a year of post-qualification experience.
• A solid understanding of corporate tax compliance, plus experience in delivering advisory work to SMEs or entrepreneurial businesses.
