The opportunity

As a Manager at Azets, you will have the skills, ability, and motivation needed to:

  1. Own and manage a client portfolio with a high level of responsibility and technical excellence
  2. Oversee your team’s portfolios and input to workflow planning
  3. Deliver revenue and profitability targets
  4. Foster enduring client relationships
  5. Develop and inspire our Smarter People plan
  6. Assist with business development to help meet our ambitious growth targets

Day-to-day duties

  1. Provide a range of tax services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast-growing clients to large corporate entities
  2. Handle and manage the corporate tax compliance process for your clients, delivering high quality and working closely with clients to resolve queries and identify opportunities
  3. Communicate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met, and overseeing client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met
  4. Provide tax advisory services across your client base, liaising with specialists where needed
What are we looking for?
  1. CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified
  2. Our clients come from all industries, so exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage
  3. Previous Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential
  4. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation
