Corporate Tax Accountant - Aberdeen

Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Accountant to join their Aberdeen office. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional to advance within a progressive accountancy firm.

Applicants qualified by experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities include:

1. Manage the successful delivery of tax advice, ensuring technical excellence and a commercial approach
2. Manage a client portfolio providing both corporate tax compliance, tax accounting and planning advice
3. Assist with the management of the tax team workload and personnel
4. Support tax partners on many and varied advisory projects including mergers and acquisitions and restructuring.

Education/Qualifications:

1. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA)

Key Experience/Skills:

1. Significant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and/or industry
2. Technically capable tax adviser who is able to manage complex client work
3. Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients
4. Existing business development skills and appetite to grow business
5. Project management experience
6. Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
