An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory firm based in Sheffield city centre. They are looking for a Corporate Solicitor with 3-8 years’ PQE to join their expanding law firm where there are genuine prospects for career progression as well as the opportunity to be part of a growing team.

The company has six UK offices in Leeds, Sheffield, York, Hertford, London & Thirsk. Each office offers a full range of business and advisory services. Their clients’ needs are the focus of everything they do and they know each client is unique and special with a range of different opportunities and challenges.
The firm operates under an ABS structure and you will work closely with your Corporate Finance colleagues on projects, giving you the opportunity to be involved in transactions at an earlier stage and to develop your lead advisory skills. The Company has been very successful in winning projects and therefore although you will be encouraged to network and develop introducer relationships, this is not a key requirement of the role.
The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for Corporate transactions from an early stage through to completion, with full support of Partners and Senior Associates. Collaboration and support are central to the firm’s culture. From the start, you will be given direct client contact. You are likely to take lead responsibility for certain matters where appropriate, as well as regular collaboration with senior colleagues. You will also work closely to develop strong relationships with clients, potential clients, intermediaries and other potential referrers of work.
