A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry-leading corporate team at this top-tier international practice in London.

The firm ranks as both one of the top firms and Private Equity practices in the UK, and is arguably the largest and widest-reaching international-UK law firm.

The London corporate team consists of over 100 lawyers undertaking high-value, complex, and challenging mandates, advising a wide variety of financial sponsors, including many leading international private equity houses, infrastructure and other investment funds, banks, and other financial institutions.

My client is currently looking to add a talented private equity lawyer, capable of advising on the full range of investments, exits, and work for portfolio companies.

The salary bracket for the roles starts at £160k from 2 PQE, up to £180k at 5 PQE, in addition to a relatively industry-standard bonus scheme at that level, which can top £50k depending on activation.

The successful corporate associate joining this team will handle a full range of corporate work, which will include:

1. Leading key workstreams on large transactions and potentially even running smaller transactions.
2. Advising on investments, whether by way of private acquisitions, public company takeovers, minority investments, or joint ventures.
3. Advising on exits, whether by way of trade sale, IPO, or dual track.

This position is ideally suited to a mid-level corporate associate between two and five years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

1. A strong academic background
2. Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
3. Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Experience in business development and client relationship management

With regards to hybrid working, my client operates a 60% office attendance policy, with the option to also work from any of their regional offices.
