Corporate Lawyer – British Virgin Islands

Joining a small team that handles a wide variety of high-quality international work, this role guarantees a level of exposure that is simply unattainable for an associate at this level in a large onshore firm.

You will work closely with Partners and deal directly with clients, advising on the full gamut of corporate matters including some focus on funds, regulatory and crypto related matters. It is fast-moving and complex work that will at times require you to juggle competing demands. If you want to practice at the highest level but find the more rigid structures of a large corporate team restrictive, you will likely thrive in this environment.

Requirements

• Overseas qualified lawyers must be admitted in the UK.
• Likely to suit someone with 2-3 years’ PQE.
• Experience of high-value corporate work from a good UK or equivalent law firm is essential. Any prior exposure to funds or crypto work would be beneficial but is not a requirement.

Package

• Salary expected to be in the range of USD120k-USD140k with a low tax-rate (c8%)
• Comprehensive benefits and bonus.
• Relocation package (flights + temporary accommodation on arrival + expenses allowance).

Process

• Interviews will take place by videoconference.
• Start dates typically around 3-6 months later (depending on your notice period).

British Virgin Islands
