Corporate Lawyer – 6-12 Month Contract (Maternity Cover) | Immediate Start

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join a highly regarded international law firm on a 6-12 month maternity cover contract, with an immediate start. This role is ideal for a commercially minded lawyer with strong M&A, venture capital, and corporate advisory experience who is looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in advising founders, investors, and corporates on a variety of corporate matters, including M&A transactions, venture capital investments, and corporate governance. Responsibilities will involve:

  1. Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and investment agreements.
  2. Leading deals and providing general corporate advisory support.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, strong drafting skills, and a keen commercial mindset. A proactive and collaborative approach is essential, as the role will involve working on cross-border transactions and coordinating with colleagues across international offices.
