About The Role

Due to growth at enfinium, we are looking to expand our finance team and are delighted to be recruiting for the new role of Financial Modelling Analyst. As Financial Modelling Analyst, you will work within the Corporate Development and Treasury Team at enfinium. The Corporate Development & Treasury team is responsible for a range of activities including financial analysis of strategic and commercial issues, appraisal of new investment opportunities, business development support, financial modelling, financing, investor and debt holder relations, loan compliance, treasury operations, investments, risk management and management of key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who can offer support across these functions. Please see below a brief overview:

Financial Modelling

  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and update enfinium's valuation model quarterly for shareholders.
  • Develop financial models to support business cases, including development and growth opportunities and commercial decision-making.
  • Prepare financial analysis in various contexts, including project development, capital markets transactions, and M&A activities.
  • Analyse and interpret complex financial data derived from financial models.

Investment Appraisal

  • Conduct investment appraisals, including financial feasibility studies and scenario analysis.
  • Assess risks, returns, and financial implications of potential investments.
  • Develop recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate the impact of investment decisions on the company’s financial health.

Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
  • Support the development of growth strategies through financial and strategic analysis, investment appraisal, and preparation of reporting materials.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors and business partners.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure transparency and clear reporting of financial modelling outcomes to support decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams, including finance, business development, legal, and operations.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business units in decision-making.
  • Ensure knowledge-sharing and alignment across departments.

What do you need to apply?

Essentials

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in corporate development, corporate finance, financial modelling, and financial analysis.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with an understanding of key drivers, risks, and sensitivities.
  • Good understanding of corporate finance concepts, equity and debt financing, cash flow modelling, and hedging.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to present information visually for senior decision-makers.

Desirable

  • Prior experience or knowledge of infrastructure financing and infrastructure modelling.
  • Experience and knowledge of energy and off-take markets.
