Who we are:
At TrueLayer, we’re creating a payments network that better connects banks, businesses and everybody. And we’re going big. We’re taking on cards with a payment method that’s actually designed for the online, on-demand world we live in. Removing friction from the most crucial part of commerce: the payment.
To date, we’ve raised $270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We’ve got offices in London, Milan and Dublin. And we’re trusted by industry leaders like Coinbase, Revolut and William Hill… though we’re not stopping here.
We’re on a mission to change the way the world pays, invests, shops and saves. To transform how people approach payments. To build a brand that redefines an entire industry — and we’d like your help to get us there. So what do you say?

The team sits with Corporate Strategy as part of a wider Strategic Finance function. The functions work together to translate longer term vision into a consumable financial framework that influences our operational priorities and decision making. We regularly work across the business to programmatically assess performance monthly and quarterly against annual OKRs.

- Define, measure and track progress against identified KPIs and targets for the company.
- Have an understanding of revenue and revenue acquisition, through cost of sales, gross margin, and ultimately EBITDA and cash.
- Partner across the company, building relationships with key stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
- Work collaboratively with the Strategy team to support in quantifying our longer term equity story.
- Support special projects - may include new product or pricing launches, new market expansion, and areas of inorganic growth (e.g. M&A, fundraising, JVs, investments).
- Support on creating Board materials for monthly and quarterly reporting.
This is an ideal role for someone who likes to understand a business and industry through a numerical lens; who exudes ownership, is obsessed with detail, and enjoys accelerated learning in a fast paced environment.
About you:
- At least 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, PE / VC or management consulting, or in-house Corporate Finance.
- Strong desire to take on challenges; working in an innovative tech environment.
- Understanding of financial modelling, valuation methods.
- Highly numerate, with immaculate attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; you have the ability to summarise complex financial ideas to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- You are very data-driven, and can back up your work with data.
- You enjoy rolling your sleeves up and owning the delivery of work.
We would be particularly excited if you have:
- A strong interest in / experience with Open Banking, PSD2, payments and data.
- Knowledge of key metrics used in evaluating SaaS/FinTech and ideally payments businesses.
Don’t meet all the requirements?

At TrueLayer, we are committed to building a diverse workforce, so if you are excited about this role and have the essential skills, but not the entire checklist - we’d still love to hear from you!
