Klarent Hospitality is the market leader in hotel investment and management. It currently manages a portfolio of 12 hotels in the UK and Ireland, trading under prestigious, international brands such as Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and DoubleTree by Hilton. Klarent is the largest operator and manager of Hilton branded hotels in the UK.The Corporate Finance Manager is a pivotal hire for Klarent, reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Finance. The role is required to support the Head of Corporate Finance with the financing of capital projects, liquidity management, investor relations and other strategic initiatives as the Klarent business continues to scale.The Corporate Finance Manager will be accountable for the preparation of various day-to-day deliverables that support Klarent’s capital investment strategy and feed directly into both shareholder and lender reporting. This position will be highly visible in the business, offering high levels of exposure to senior-level stakeholders. The role will require a highly capable individual who has the energy to operate in a fast-paced environment and displays ambition to grow with the business over time.Key Areas:

  • Capex Reporting: monitoring capital spend against approved project budgets and preparing monthly capex reports for key stakeholders
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: preparing monthly cash-flow forecasts to support efficient liquidity management including recommendations for required funding actions
  • Capital Management: preparing funding proposals for submission to lenders or investors and ensure such proposals are consistent with cash flow forecasting
  • Bank Reporting: preparing quarterly bank reporting, including covenant testing and any other required disclosures
  • Financial Modelling: ongoing management of Klarent’s financial projections model and providing input into Henderson Park’s investment models where required
  • Insurance Management: building relationships with third-party insurance brokers and lead annual insurance renewal cycle, including provision of all required information on a timely basis
  • Risk Register: Taking ownership of Klarent’s Risk Register, liaising with key stakeholders to keep the register updated. Building a Key Risk Dashboard for performance tracking and onboard any new hotel investments into the register
  • Special Projects: Supporting with any other corporate finance activity, including ad-hoc financial analysis, as and when required
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant by training, highly proactive and keen to develop their experience within a hugely ambitious and scaling organisation. The role will be wide-ranging, and remit can be influenced by the candidate’s previous experience and ability.
