Corporate / Finance Associate – Jersey

We are seeking a talented Corporate/Finance Associate to join our client's highly rated Jersey office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to their dynamic team, working on prestigious cross-border mandates for blue-chip and institutional-level clients. The scope and complexity of the work is first class and would suit individuals that are keen to develop and maintain a broad practice going forward.

Applicant Requirements

1. 2-6 years' relevant post-qualification experience in general corporate and/or finance matters
2. Experience with a leading law firm in a major onshore or offshore jurisdiction
3. Outstanding academics
4. Significant attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills
5. Ability to multi-task and adhere to internal policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

1. Advise on corporate and finance matters, including M&A, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings, DCM, High Yield, leveraged and structured finance, and securitisation
2. Work with major banks, multinational and institutional investment firms, and leading onshore law firms
3. Engage in business development activities and promote the firm
4. Collaborate with partners and manage junior lawyers
