Job Description

Seeking a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join a leading financial institution, managing and growing a portfolio of clients within the energy and oil & gas space. You will play a pivotal role in building long-term partnerships with clients while driving revenue growth and delivering bespoke solutions across financing, risk management, and treasury services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key commodity trading clients in the energy and oil & gas sector.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio and grow market share.
  3. Strategic Solutions: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored banking products, including trade finance, structured finance, and cash management solutions.
  4. Market Insight: Monitor market trends and commodity price movements to provide clients with strategic insights and advice.
  5. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial and credit risks associated with client transactions.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and internal compliance standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  1. Experience: A proven track record as a Relationship Manager in corporate or investment banking, with expertise in commodities, energy, or oil & gas.
  2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of trade finance, structured finance, and treasury products.
  3. Client Focus: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with senior stakeholders.
  4. Commercial Acumen: An analytical mindset with a deep understanding of market dynamics within the energy and oil & gas sector.
  5. Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  6. Education: A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
