Corporate Banking & Finance Solicitor | Senior Associate | UK Top 100 Law Firm

BCL Legal is working with a UK Top 100 practice to recruit a Senior Associate for their Corporate Banking & Finance team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-regarded firm that is looking to expand its Commercial Division and continue providing exceptional service to clients.

In this role, the Senior Associate will be integral to supporting the Corporate Business Manager and Sector Lead in driving the business forward. The position involves managing a variety of banking and finance matters, overseeing a small team, and playing a pivotal role in the development of business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage your own portfolio of banking and finance cases, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
2. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients and assist in managing larger, more complex client relationships.
3. Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives by helping to secure new clients and opportunities.
4. Provide leadership and support to junior members of the team, helping to foster professional growth.
5. Stay updated with trends and changes in the banking and finance sector, contributing to the firm's overall strategic direction.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 5+ years PQE with strong experience in banking and finance law.
2. Experience in advising both lenders and borrowers on a range of finance-related matters.
3. Proven ability to manage a team and contribute to the development of business.
4. Real estate finance experience is beneficial, though not essential.
