A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leading corporate team at this top tier national practice in London.

The firm, which ranks as one of the top 15 in the UK, is arguably the largest and widest-reaching domestic UK law firm.

The London corporate team handles high-value, complex, and challenging matters for clients both domestically and internationally across the renewable energy, mining, oil and gas, life sciences, technology, media, telecoms, financial services, and retail sectors.

My client is currently looking to add a talented corporate lawyer, with strong experience and interest in M&A work (public or private).

The salary bracket for the roles starts at £110k from 3 PQE, up to £120k at 5 PQE, in addition to a relatively industry standard bonus scheme, activated for hitting the hours target of 1600.

Responsibilities:

• Private and public company share and asset sales and purchases
• IPOs and listings
• Fundraisings
• Strategic investments and partnerships
• Joint ventures
• Management buy-outs and buy-ins
• Restructurings
• Private equity transactions and sponsor exits
• Board advisory and corporate governance

• A strong academic background
• Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in business development and client relationship management

With regards to hybrid working, my client operates a 60% office attendance policy, with the option to also work from any of their regional offices.
