A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry-leading corporate team at this top-tier national practice in London.

The firm, which ranks as one of the top 10 in the UK, is arguably the largest and widest-reaching domestic UK law firm.

The London corporate team handles high-value, complex, and challenging matters for clients both domestically and internationally across the renewable energy, mining, oil and gas, life sciences, healthcare, technology, media, telecoms, financial services, retail, and sports sectors.

My client is currently looking to add a talented corporate lawyer, with strong experience and interest in M&A work.

The salary bracket for the roles starts at £105k from 2 PQE, up to £120k at 5 PQE, in addition to a relatively industry-standard bonus scheme, activated for hitting the hours target of 1600.

The successful corporate associate joining this team will handle a full range of corporate work, which will include:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents to affect public and private M&A transactions (predominantly private).
2. Working on venture capital, private equity, and equity capital markets transactions.

This position is ideally suited to a mid-level corporate associate between two and five years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

1. A strong academic background.
2. Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm.
3. Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Experience in business development and client relationship management.

With regards to hybrid working, my client operates a 60% office attendance policy, with the option to also work from any of their regional offices.
