Job Title: Coordinator, Facilities

Reports To: Manager, Office & Facility Operations

Place of Work: RWS Studios UK, 157 Clarence Ave, Northampton NN2 6NY

Hours: 9am to 5pm but there may be occasional out of hours required

Job Summary

RWS Global is currently seeking a Coordinator, Facilities to serve as a point person to oversee our rehearsal studios and performer housing.

Reporting to the Manager, Office & Facility Operations, the Coordinator, Facilities is responsible for keeping the studio operations running smoothly and effectively. An ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, with exceptional attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly pivot when necessary.

KEY TASKS

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage facility operations at the studio in a fast-paced production environment
  • Monitor studio calendar and supervise turn arounds, load ins, and set ups for show runs and inductions
  • Ensure compliance of studio protocol & enforce safety standards
  • Inspect the facilities on a regular basis for proper maintenance and repairs
  • Repair minor fixes as needed
  • Maintain rehearsal studio supplies, show props & tech inventory
  • Oversee the janitorial staff
  • Maintain performer housing, including move in and move out procedures
  • Ensure Aerial Rigs are maintained and tested regularly
  • Distribution of cast pictures
  • Provide audio support

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-3 year’s experience as a Facilities or Production/Stage Manager
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to quickly problem solve under pressure
  • Exceptional time management and attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation, organization, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite
