Job description

Trust has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at Mission Place, Motherwell, North Lanarkshire ML1 1EG on a permanent full-time contract of 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu.

As a Cook, your duties would involve menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients, and working alongside the catering assistant.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment, we will offer you:

  • 37.5 hours, 5 days per week on a 4-week rolling rota, working every second weekend, from 10.00am to 6.00pm (with half an hour unpaid break)
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour

You must be able to move around the kitchen and be adept at multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage.

You will help to keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently while ensuring you follow food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures.
