Our client is a leading Private Equity and Real Estate investments house. Due to company growth, they are now looking to recruit a COO.
The COO will assume the following remit:
- Work with the CEO in setting and driving the company’s vision and operational strategy
- Contribute to organisational wide leadership on strategy, business modelling, as well as operational effectiveness and transformation
- Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement company wide goal setting, performance management, and operational planning
- Maintain and improve on processes so that investors continue to receive exceptional levels of client servicing
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity, maintaining a highly inclusive culture
- Analyse internal operations and identify areas for improvement
- Implement a process of continuous improvement based on these metrics, company changes and external changes
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key professional firms and suppliers to ensure the best service levels and value for money are achieved
- Board reporting on operational performance, people and organisational issues
The COO will require the following skill set:
- 5 years’ experience at director or senior management level in a Real Estate, Alternatives or Private Equity investment firm
- Strong leadership skills
- Track record of delivering organisational goals and change
- Proven ability to manage change
- Strong experience of board and investor reporting.
Due to the nature of this role, candidates must come from a Real Estate investment, Alternative investment, or Private Equity investment background. Candidates without this experience, or with experience only in vanilla investments, cannot be considered.
