A prestigious law firm is seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join their residential property department. This role is pivotal in supporting legal staff and contributing to the efficiency of the conveyancing operations.

Hours: 9am-5.30pm Monday - Friday

Location: Hornchurch

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Responsibilities

  • Assist Solicitor with comprehensive support for optimal performance.
  • Handle document management and correspondence with expertise in audio-typing and word processing.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and manage client files in accordance with office protocols.
  • Coordinate mail, meetings, and diary schedules to ensure efficient communication and time management.
  • Provide exceptional client care, uphold confidentiality, and support office staff and secretaries.

Required skills / experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working within conveyancing at a law firm
  • Exceptional literacy and communication abilities.
  • Proficient keyboard and IT skills.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a team.
