Conventional/CNC Turner
This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting and dynamic team. We are looking for a skilled conventional CNC turner to help produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. Job Purpose

To ensure quality engineering of components using relevant procedures and methods. Ensure health and safety in the workplace: To provide training where necessary.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Interpreting 2D engineering drawings.
  2. Planning and setting up the machine, process, and tools to meet drawing requirements.
  3. Turning large components up to 20 meters in length to tight tolerances (+/-.05mm).
  4. Basic programming using Siemens controls.
  5. Use of overhead pendant cranes.
  6. Deburring components.
  7. Maintaining machinery, including swarf removal, routine oiling, and greasing.
  8. Carrying out daily bookings.
Hours

Weekly rotating shift:
Monday-Friday (06:00 -14:00 working 14:00 - 22:00 the following week)

Requirements

Must have conventional turning experience, horizontal and/or vertical.
