Role Overview
As a Technical Field Advisor – Steam Turbine Controls, you will be responsible for managing control systems activities on-site during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of heavy-duty turbines and related equipment. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, reviewing plant engineering documents (P&IDs), and coordinating resources to ensure smooth project execution.
This role demands a strong safety mindset, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a field environment.

Skills & Experience Required
Field Engineering Experience – Extensive hands-on experience with gas/steam turbine control systems.
Controls Expertise – Strong knowledge of Mark VI, Mark Vie, Mark V, and PLC-based control systems.
Technical Troubleshooting – Ability to analyze P&IDs, schematics, and control logic to diagnose issues.
Software & Computer Skills – Proficiency in control system software, programming, and diagnostics.
Strong Communication – Ability to liaise effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
Independent & Solution-Oriented – Able to work with minimal supervision in high-pressure environments.
Education & Certifications
Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related field) – however, experience and professional achievements are most important.
Certifications in GE control systems (Mark VI, Vie, V) or relevant industry qualifications are a plus.
