CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER - CONTRACT – SURREY

PART TIME ROLE

Our Client is seeking a part time Control System Engineer on an FPSO FEED Project for an initial 2-3 month contract role that has an immediate start.

EXPERIENCE:

Should have experience of working as a control system engineer on FPSO FEED projects. Candidates must have experience of the job scope below.

JOB SCOPE:

  1. Develops the preliminary and final stage I&C, and design deliverables including contributing to P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Philosophy.
  2. Assists with design development for DCS, PLC, and SCADA-based process control systems for clients and projects.
  3. Collaborates with client counterpart to develop control systems concepts, architectures, and control platforms as applied to the client project.
  4. Performs automation-related job functions as assigned, including, I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and the specification of instrumentation and control elements.
  5. Support in Control system vendor finalization and EPC contract finalization.
  6. Participate in SIL, LOPA, and HAZOP.

DURATION: 2-3 months initially

LOCATION: The part time role is for 3 days a week ideally based in our Client’s Offices in Surrey. Some remote working may be possible.

RATE: £55.00 per hour Ltd co rate.

If the role is likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
