Primarily London and the South East - Further travel may be required on an ad hoc basis.

THE COMPANY

Intrinsic Fire Protection Ltd are a specialist contractor for the survey, design, supply and installation of all forms of passive fire protection, including firestopping and compartmentation, installation and upgrade of fire doors, structural steel fire protection - both spray and board, cavity barriers, fire walls etc. We are experiencing a period of great growth and are currently looking to recruit an additional contract manager to assist with the smooth running of existing and upcoming contracts.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The overall role of Contracts Manager is to ensure all projects under their control are completed on time, to budget, to specification, safely, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

REQUIRED SKILLS

We are looking for a contract manager with experience in the passive fire protection industry, specifically fire doors and fire stopping projects. Above all else, we are looking for a reliable team player with a 'can-do' attitude to join us at this exciting time in our growth. PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  1. Oversee projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget.
  2. Ensure all works are completed to exacting specifications and to the highest possible quality.
  3. Regular quality inspections of completed installations, intrusive where necessary.
  4. Conducting of onsite inductions prior to commencement of works.
  5. Ensure all works are completed safely, and in-line with project specific RAMS.
  6. Conducting of onsite tool box talks as required.
  7. Organising and placement of appropriately qualified labour.
  8. Arranging materials and plant as required to ensure smooth running of sites.
  9. Maintain supplier relationships.
  10. Attendance at client meetings and site inspections.
  11. Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally.
  12. Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
  13. Oversee compilation of all site completion documentation.
  14. Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate.
  15. Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders.
  16. Additional ad hoc duties to aid in the overall smooth running and development of the business.
