Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Gloucestershire

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contracts Manager to join our management team. As the Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing a diverse team, and ensuring the delivery of projects in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Salary: Negotiable, with a competitive range between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of scaffolders and office staff.
  • Provide leadership and direction, driving performance through effective workforce planning, forecasting, and development.
  • Conduct site surveys, prepare accurate estimates, and liaise directly with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensure scaffolding jobs are completed to the highest standards, complying with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Manage and oversee multiple active sites and projects, including monitoring materials on-site, storage, and current status.
  • Control contract costs, including labor, transport, contract expenses, stock management, and more to stay within budget.
  • Prioritize Health and Safety on all projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the company's health and safety protocols.
  • Review and approve timesheets and process payments for direct and subcontract staff.
  • Manage NASC accreditation and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A strong knowledge of the construction industry, particularly scaffolding.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, development, and project management.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly for contract management and reporting.
  • Ability to read and work with design drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full UK Driver's License.
  • Experience in contract administration (minimum 1 year preferred).
