Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of Tyne & Wear's leading and fastest growing Construction & Property contractors.
Due to a continued period of growth, they are now looking to add an experienced Contracts Manager to their team.
You will be responsible for contracts & personnel in the region ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of projects & client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Generate work programmes - site specific
  2. Monitor project progression - identify any variations
  3. Work collaboratively with contracts team in labour allocation
  4. Arrange welfare and sanitation facilities where applicable
  5. Order and arrange distribution of materials
  6. Raise sub-contractor orders from company approved list
  7. Good knowledge of H&S legislation, CDM etc.
  8. Undertake risk and COSHH assessments as required - monitor
  9. Generate and distribute RAMS
  10. Implement Company Site Health and Safety policy
  11. Manage site-based employees and sub-contractors - allocation of responsibility
  12. Mandatory site inspections
  13. Ensure site staff observe safety policies inc. use of PPE
  14. Financial control in accordance with quotation
  15. Assist in preparation of interim claims
  16. Collate financial information for weekly review meeting
  17. Provide line management to employees
