Job Title – Contracts Manager

Department/Sector – Travel

Job Location – Swindon

Salary – £30k – £40k

Our client is recruiting a Contracts Manager to procure and manage a worldwide portfolio of ground contracts. In this role, you will support business growth and be responsible for developing and maintaining key international contractual relationships.

A main part of the role focuses on the delivery of high-value outsourced agreements. Our client is one of the fastest growing cruise and stay holiday companies.

You will be responsible for negotiating all contracts, securing competitive rates to deadlines for all source markets. This role will require travel to global destinations; fluency in a second language is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractual compliance or escalation issues and develop effective supplier relationships.
  • Drive contract agreements to generate incremental income based on performance targets agreed.
  • Monitor delivery of service against contract obligations, including performance regime data; check schedule and contract milestones compliance.
  • Understand revenue margins and volumes associated with each contracted product.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Manage supplier performance and contractual risk.
  • Ensure that contractual and service obligations are met, with quick resolutions, service level agreements, and industry-leading customer service delivered to our clients.

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

  • Creative flair, business acumen, and entrepreneurial style towards business development.
  • Innovative thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Drive and motivation to deal with a wide range of tasks with conflicting priorities; 3-5 years of customer relationship management and strategic central solutions management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of tourism worldwide.
  • Previous experience negotiating contracts with hotels and ground handlers is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills, pro-active, dynamic, passionate, and a team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus excellent numeric ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
