Contracts Manager - The Company:

Our client is a successful regional main contractor with an established reputation across the South of England and beyond. Typical projects are New Build between GBP3m and GBP30m in value across Commercial and Education sectors on Design & build, framework, two stage & negotiated contracts. The company is undoubtedly one of the best employers in the construction industry.

Contracts Manager - The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team to run projects from the Swindon office, typically within 1 hour. Roaming across projects (typically 2-4 at any one time) offering excellent work flexibility with a mix of remote, office and site-based work. You will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of contracts via site-based Site Managers/Project Managers and supported by the commercial team. The role will report to an Operations Manager. Typical projects are between GBP5m and GBP30m in value across Commercial, Education and Public Sectors on Design & build, framework, two stage & negotiated contracts.

Contracts Manager - The Person:

• You will have a solid and steady permanent career experience with main contractors
• 5 years as Project Manager or 2 years + as Contracts Manager
• Demonstrable experience of delivering new build projects
• Experience delivering contracts over GBP7m as No.1
• Proven experience in managing site-based teams on multiple simultaneous projects at once
• Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things
• High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme
• A track record of delivering projects across multi-sectors
• A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals.
• Commutable within 1 hour of Swindon
