Contracts Manager - The Company:

Our client is a successful multi-regional main contractor with an established reputation across the country. The company has been awarded a number of large scale cladding replacement projects in the North West of England and is looking to add a Contracts Manager. The company is undoubtedly one of the best employers in the construction industry and can offer a strong package and progression route.

Contracts Manager - The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team to run projects in the North West from the Manchester office (projects will initially be in Liverpool). Roaming across projects (typically 2-4 at any one time) offering excellent work flexibility with a mix of remote, office, and site-based work. You will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of contracts via site-based Site Managers/Project Managers and supported by the commercial team. The role will report to an Operations Director. Typical projects are between GBP5m and GBP20m in value across commercial cladding projects.

Contracts Manager - The Person:

• You will have a solid and steady permanent career experience with main contractors.
• 5 years as Project Manager or 2 years + as Contracts Manager.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering cladding replacement/refurbishment schemes.
• Experience delivering contracts over GBP7m.
• Proven experience in managing site-based teams on multiple simultaneous projects at once.
• Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things.
• High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme.
• A track record of delivering projects across multi-sectors.
• A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals.
• Commutable within 1 hour of Liverpool.
