Contracts Manager
Our client specialises in foundation services, including mini-piling, piling, underpinning, and restricted access piling, providing expert solutions for the construction industry across the South East and the UK.
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join their Specialist Foundations Team in Hertfordshire. This dynamic role involves managing and coordinating foundation projects across the UK, with a focus on delivering groundworks, piling, underpinning, and new foundation projects to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks or piling and be comfortable with regular travel across the UK.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of specialist foundation projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Conduct site visits nationwide to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality standards.
- Manage site teams, ensuring health and safety compliance and efficient workflows.
- Provide guidance and support to site personnel, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with the Head Office team to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain accurate project records, including reports, budgets, and schedules.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving challenges proactively.
- Participate in training programmes to build expertise in specialist foundation techniques.
Requirements:
- CSCS card (minimum requirement).
- Experience in groundworks, including piling, underpinning, and new foundations (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Categories BE and/or C1 driving licence (not essential).
- Knowledge of specialist foundation works.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK as part of the role.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
