Role Overview: My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team based in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will oversee retail and commercial fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of retail and commercial fit-out projects ranging from GBP100K to GBP500K.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits nationwide to oversee project delivery and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met on-site.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Contracts Manager in the fit-out industry.
- Proven track record in managing retail and commercial projects within the GBP100K - GBP500K range.
- Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for site visits.
