Pioneer Healthcare specialises in providing insourcing and outsourcing services to NHS patients across a wide range of surgical and medical specialties.

Operating predominantly in the North of England, Pioneer holds contracts with NHS Foundation Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). We also hold the prestigious Any Qualified Provider (AQP) status, which allows us to deliver services directly to NHS patients nationwide, free at the point of delivery, where there is sufficient demand.

This combined approach strengthens both organisations to offer an expanded range of services to NHS Foundation Trusts, hospitals, and CCGs nationally across the UK and Ireland.

An IR35 Assessment on each role you are engaged to support.

A reference check with at least one of your past clients.

Criminal Record Check

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or relevant equivalent

Relevant professional registration or membership (e.g., NMC, GMC)

Proof of Vaccination & Immunity

Medical or health assessment (if required for the role)

Security Clearance - If successful, the background check process will be managed by Totally Plc, our parent company. Detailed information will be provided in your Offer of Engagement Letter.

During your engagement, you will remain a contractor and not an employee. It will be your responsibility to ensure taxes are paid directly to HMRC.

All contractor roles are subject to an IR35 compliance assessment.
