Long-Term Contract Opportunity!
Our client, a forward-thinking company in the robotics industry, is driving innovation with autonomous solutions designed to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. They are currently seeking a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer on an initial 6-month assignment, working on a hybrid basis with 3 days on site in Cambridgeshire.
As our client is considered exempt for IR35 purposes, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing IR35 status, should you wish to operate via your own PSC.
You will join a small design team tasked with a crucial re-design which will enable the product to extend its capability and functionality. You will be experienced with Solidworks and Solidworks PDM, design for manufacture and skilled in metal/sheet metal component design, and involved in the prototype process with more time on site during that phase. This role will suit an engineer who has a passion for robotics, a critical eye to problem solve and is driven to succeed.
