Contract Manager

GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 basic, overtime available

Are you a mechanically biased Manager with the experience and expertise to oversee a regional contract for a leading Mechanical & Electrical Facilities Services provider?


This company specializes in Service, Maintenance, and Minor Works projects within the Facilities Management sector, covering Mechanical Engineering, Commercial Gas, and HVAC across various buildings, including office spaces and student accommodations.


Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a Contracts Manager to support the Operations Manager in building and leading a team from their Birmingham office, covering projects across Midlands.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the delivery of Planned, Reactive, and Responsive Maintenance across secured client sites.
  2. Manage small/minor works projects, coordinating with in-house engineers and subcontractors as required.
  3. Develop new client relationships while maintaining strong partnerships with existing clients.
  4. Oversee supply chain management, recruitment, and staff performance reviews (including 1-2-1s).

Ideal Candidate:
  1. Qualified in Commercial Gas or from a Mechanical HVAC background.
  2. Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors within Facilities Management.
  3. Strong leadership and business development skills.
