Contract Manager

Location: Basingstoke / Remote with regular travel to customer sites.

Your experience

Customer Facing

  • Experience of being a single point of contact for the Authorities commercial function to deal with questions/ queries.
  • Engage regularly with the Authority commercial team regarding questions and queries related to contractual/commercial matters, including:
    • Engaging on Delay Letters issued by you on behalf of the Delivery Executive.
    • Reviewing feedback to Change Notes by the Authority.
    • Managing the requirement for Letters of Authority (LOA’s) in advance of an authorised Change.
    • Issuing Obsolescence Notices.
    • Addressing ad hoc questions or queries as they arise.
    • Attending Customer Site once per month as a ‘Full Commercial Team’ to discuss and identify improvements to current working practices.
    • Supporting and occasionally leading on all commercial matters relating to specified contracts, including:
      • Contract Change Board – Monthly.
      • Indexation – Annually.
      • Contract Conformance – Weekly calls and 6 monthly conformance.
      • Disputes and potential disputes with guidance from Senior Contracts Manager.

    As part of the Fujitsu Team

    • Work as part of the broader Fujitsu team to develop and review quality offers to the Authority in respect of Contract Change.
    • Attend and contribute to Governance Forums such as DRW and CAB.
    • Engage with the Change Team to coach on the commercial offering of the opportunity.
    • Participate in Change Tracking to support the priorities of the Change team.
    • Review each offer submitted to the Authority for quality and compliance with contract terms.
    • Support the delivery of change projects by attending monthly and/or ad hoc project reviews, providing commercial/contract guidance.
    • Address specific contractual pressures across the contract, including service, change impacting, change delivery, and general contract compliance.
    • Act as a point of contact for procurement when guidance is required.
    • Support in contractual reporting obligations such as:
      • Social Values.
      • Foreign Exchange.
      • Audit.
      • Obsolescence.
    • Provide contract guidance to all members of the programme, finance, delivery, and service teams regarding specified elements of the contract.

    Competencies we are looking for include:

    • Excellent SharePoint skills.
    • Ability to develop data tracking reports such as obligations tracking and ongoing data monitoring.
    • Ability to manipulate bulk data, for example, creating conformed versions of contract documents.
