Location: Watchfield - Defence Academy

Salary: circa £67,000 negotiable depending on experience + Benefits

Revenue Accountability: Circa £12m PA

People Accountability: Circa 240

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Leadership & Strategy - Inspire and manage a team of 7 direct reports and oversee a workforce of around 240 people. Use strong people skills to foster a positive work environment and implement a strategy for profit growth.
2. Financial & Contract Management - Utilise strong business acumen to enhance profit and identify opportunities. Ensure all contractual terms are met while optimising profitability and achieving financial targets.
3. Operational Excellence - Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
4. Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored catering and hospitality solutions.
5. Growth & Development - Identify opportunities to enhance and expand service offerings.
6. Continuous Improvement - Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for operational enhancements.

What We’re Looking For:

1. A proven leader with senior management experience.
2. A results-driven professional with a strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
3. Experience in managing catering and facilities management operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
4. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. A flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to shifting business priorities.

Desirable Experience:

1. Soft services, particularly catering and hospitality.
2. Facilities management, including waste management.
3. FM accreditation (IWFM) or working towards certification.
