Our client who specializes in mission critical systems for the defence industry is looking for a proactive Contract Cost Accountant to join them on a contract basis.

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to balance office presence with remote work. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in cost accounting to drive a transformation and reconciliation project to assist with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyse and manage cost structures
2. Develop and implement cost control processes
3. Confidently understand inventory accounts
4. Proven experience in industrial inventory management

Minimum Requirements:

1. Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Proficient in financial software and Excel
4. Excellent communication skills
