Contract Closeout Specialist (0003)

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT is seeking experienced Acquisition Professionals with a minimum of three (3) years of Contract Specialist or Contracting and Procurement experience, specifically in closeout activities. Candidates with experience in the Contract and Procurement Series (1102) within a federal acquisition office are preferred. This experience may come from a federal government role, a contracting position supporting a federal or commercial acquisition office, or a combination of both. Expertise in closing out construction contracts—including firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, time and materials, labor-hour, and hybrid contracts—is required.

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) or more years of federal contract closeout experience
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance. The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
  • Current DHS Suitability is preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen
