ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This company is a reputable and highly recognised builder/developer, well known and respected in the building industry for their stellar reputation operating across Australia and delivering projects across multiple sectors. This company specialises in the delivery of high-end residential, commercial, and retail projects. Having secured a large-scale new build project for a well known Developer, we are seeking to employ a skilled Project Engineer or Contracts Administrator seeking a leap into a Project Engineer role to oversee the delivery of a high-rise multi residential apartment valued above $100M from start to finish in Newcastle.

ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Engineer, you will report to the Project Manager and work alongside a well resourced team to deliver a project that you’ll be proud to have worked on. You will work collaboratively with the site team to deliver a residential project valued above $100M, from start to finish. You will liaise with stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard and with a strong focus on design, structures, façade, services, and finishes. You will be supported by a team consisting of a Project Director, Project Manager, Site Managers, Foremen, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and Cadets.

DUTIES.

1. Oversee standards of quality and procedure
2. Services and design coordination
3. Subcontractor compliance and activities
4. Programming preparation and administration
5. WHS advocation
6. Cost control, variations, RFI’s

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

1. Tertiary or Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable
2. Proven record of monitoring, managing and complying with WHS and Quality Assurance processes as a Contracts Administrator, Site/Project Engineer /Junior Project Manager or similar
3. High-rise residential experience is highly desirable
