Job description

Job Title: Contentious Probate Solicitor

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonuses

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent


Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Providing expert legal advice on new and ongoing contentious probate matters.
  2. Discussing a range of queries with prospective and existing clients regarding wills, estates, and inheritance disputes.
  3. Drafting various documentation and communications, including legal correspondence, pleadings, and court applications.
  4. Recording accurate information and auditing files to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  5. Undertaking consultations and negotiations to resolve contentious probate disputes.
  6. Allocating administrative tasks as and when required to support the smooth running of the department.
