The role

Broadcast Intelligence is a commissioning focused television online publication, delivering our members up to date profiles of all key television decision makers in the UK and US. We are now increasing our coverage to encompass the global market and are looking for a team of researchers on a temporary contract to cover global streaming, North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

We’re looking for someone with an interest in television who is keen to take on a new challenge. We’re a large and social team, and there will be opportunity for career development and a permanent contract following our initial four-month launch period.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Research commissioners and their needs, recent work and preferences, through your own contacts, email alerts, social media, industry events, trade publications, external news media and other sources.
  2. Write concise, clear copy on the television industry that adheres to Broadcast’s editorial guidelines.
  3. Ensure that Commissioner Index fields are populated to standards as stated in the editorial guidelines.
  4. Continuously track commissioners and where needed update profiles you will be closely working together with the rest of the Broadcast and Broadcast Intelligence team on this too.
  5. Develop long-lasting and effective relationships with commissioners and other relevant industry figures.
  6. Ensure contact details kept in our database are up to date.
