About Culted :

CULTED is a Gen-Z multimedia and cross-platform entertainment company which launched mid-2019. We produce and publish content daily, at the speed of social media. This covers the latest news and trends from Gen-Z’s forward-thinking perspective on fashion, sneakers, beauty, art, music, and youth culture. Our omnichannel approach, combined with the captivating content we produce, have helped us amass a fast-growing international audience of over 1.6 million users. We are now looking for a skilled and talented London-based Content Producer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Core tasks and duties :

  • Generating fresh and engaging content ideas around fashion, beauty, entertainment, art, and culture and pitching these to the Editorial Manager of Culted Girl on a daily basis.
  • Reacting to news, viral moments, and current trends.
  • Conducting thorough research for full-length articles and writing them when required.
  • Writing social copy, specific to the platform, always applying Culted Girl’s tone of voice.
  • Uploading written content to WordPress.
  • Sourcing images and video for social curations, video edits, and web articles.
  • Working collaboratively within the rest of the editorial team, ensuring content is consistent across channels.
  • Writing and recording TikTok scripts and editing these using TikTok’s tools and/or CapCut when required.
  • Proposing industry creatives and talent for features.
  • Supporting brand & influencer relationships by engaging with press releases, etc.
  • Proof-checking all content before publishing.
  • Meeting SEO targets.
  • Meeting content targets.
  • Meeting audience growth and engagement targets.

Skills :

  • Able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment under high pressure.
  • Excellent instincts in finding the right social format for multiple genres and topics, with the ability to stay ahead of social trends.
  • Thrives pitching original ideas and bringing these ideas to life under tight deadlines – ability to source images and video content as well as write social captions.
  • Experience monitoring stats for the website via Google Analytics, and using findings to influence content output and pitches.
  • Outstanding eye for detail.
  • Able to adapt writing style for different formats: web, video, social media posts, etc.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Experience in WordPress is preferred.
  • At least some experience editing content for social channels using Adobe, Photoshop, TikTok’s tools, CapCut, and Premiere Pro is preferred.
