Content Designer (Contract)

Duration: 12 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: Leeds/Hybrid (2 days in office)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

About the Role

As a Content Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital communications. You will merge research and insights with clear, people-focused language to refine conversations that empower our customers. Your work will significantly influence how our customers interact with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create engaging, readable, and accessible content that enhances our customers' digital experiences.
2. Develop empathy for our customers by understanding their needs, aspirations, and challenges.
3. Take ownership as the content expert in an agile environment, ensuring alignment with product teams.
4. Strategically evolve our conversations and identify opportunities to link them to other customer experiences.
5. Share your expertise to help shape our overall design approach and contribute to a cohesive narrative.
6. Maintain consistency in customer interactions across various topics and touchpoints.
7. Promote effective writing as a tool to support and guide customers.

Skills and Experience:

1. Proven experience as a UX writer, conversation designer, or content designer.
2. Familiarity with working in complex environments, ideally within financial services.
3. A collaborative mindset, ready to contribute to a busy, multi-disciplinary team.
4. Flexibility in writing on-brand content in various tones of voice to suit different audiences.
5. Strong ability to write concise, clear, and consistent copy across multiple channels.
6. Confidence in influencing and managing stakeholders from product, risk, legal, and branding teams.
7. Experience using design platforms, such as Figma, to collaborate effectively.
