We have an opportunity available that is perfect for an experienced Contact Centre Team Leader or Supervisor with experience in sales and leading a team to successfully deliver their KPIs. You will be based in an office in Chelmsford, working Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. This offers a salary up to £38,400, plus an additional £20,000 on-target uncapped commission, plus benefits.
Benefits Include:
You will be working alongside the Army and Navy within a great team that is made up of many graduates and ex-military. Due to their consistent success and growth, they have an opportunity available for a Military Events Sales Team Leader to join them. They organise global events alongside the Army and Navy, and the sales team's role includes researching companies and contacts, fact-finding, networking, and having discussions with companies daily. They sell the benefits of attending their events, where they can network and promote their products, services, or technologies to the Army or Navy at their highly successful events.
They are looking for a Sales Team Leader, who leads by example, with a hands-on approach and can build a team capable of redefining what is possible. This is a 'captain' role, where you will be a part of the team selling delegate places to businesses, but also lead the team with training, campaign planning, and reporting responsibilities. This opportunity will give you the chance to travel internationally, as you will attend around four fully paid-for global events a year, each for around 2-4 days.
As the Military Events Sales Team Leader, you will manage your own sales campaign as a member of the team, demonstrating sales leadership, best practices, and achieving your individual targets. You will also drive team sales performance to achieve campaign targets and ensure that team activity rates and KPIs are met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Other tasks include conducting weekly team reviews and 1-to-1 call coaching sessions, maintaining accurate reports, and updating management on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. You will identify new lead sources and work with marketing to generate inbound flows and work closely with Event Directors to draft sales campaign plans. Additionally, you will liaise with the conference production team to ensure that your delegate team is fully briefed on each event and kept up to date with the programme, work with the Chief Operating Officer to identify and hire additional team members, and work with the Head of Training to plan scheduled sessions and identify gaps in capabilities.
