Insight Executive – retail – Up to £31k + Benefits + Hybrid working (2 days in London)

Our client is an innovative and high-profile retail group and brand who are looking for an analytical Insight Executive to join a growing team. If you have some experience across research, analysis, working with data or in insight, this is an incredibly exciting role which will offer the chance for you to work with data to develop insights that help direct business strategy and decision-making. In addition to hybrid working (3 days WFH, 2 days in the stunning offices), our client offers 28 days holiday + BH, life assurance, private medical insurance, pension to name a few.

As Insight Executive, you will play a pivotal role within the business, gaining key insights into the market and customer behaviour in order to recommend strategic direction and inform future business decisions. Supporting the Strategic Insight Lead, you will gather consumer data and other insight KPIs to translate into clear datasets and reports for key stakeholders, both internal and external. In addition to supporting market and customer data analysis, you will also support important activities such as managing supplier relationships and curating research projects.

Using your first-class communication skills and strong attention to detail, you will be able to extract key insights from data and communicate these clearly in written, verbal and oral formats. The ideal candidate should be confident in gathering data, have experience of data mining tools, and network confidently and effectively with stakeholders. A proactive, organised researcher with a demonstrable background in practical research and excellent analytical skills would thrive in this role!

What do I need?

  • Experience of qualitative or quantitative research ideal
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret data and generate reports
  • Experience of data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or SPSS or similar
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Ability to network with stakeholders at multiple levels
