Job Description:

A University Teaching NHS Trust in the Midlands area has appointed us to help them recruit a Consultant Radiologist in Nuclear Medicine & Genito-Urinary on a substantive or 12-24 month NHS Fixed Term (salaried) basis.

Vacancy Information:

Consultant Radiologist with special interests in nuclear medicine (including PET/CT) and genito-urinary (GU) radiology to support ongoing expansion. There is also a commitment to general and emergency body imaging in the Trust.

The successful candidate will join the existing team of radiologists within the radiology and nuclear medicine departments and will be expected to participate in multidisciplinary meetings (MDT), teaching, research, audit, and continuing professional development.

Essential criteria for the post:

  1. Full GMC registration CCT in Radiology (or within 6 months at interview) – or equivalent for overseas candidates
  2. FRCR
  3. Eligible to be included on the SR

These posts will suit both experienced Consultants and those seeking to make their first Consultant level appointment, provided they have the level of experience required for this post. Full support will be provided to new Consultants.
