Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is conveniently situated right in the heart of Canterbury's city centre, offering easy access to all. Our expert team are able to deliver established outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, addictions and eating disorders. We provide high quality support to adults, young people, older people, couples offering practical, effective help to all our service users.
We are currently seeking a CAMHS Psychiatric Consultant to support our CAMHS structure at Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury.
The successful applicant will be required to offer psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents (6yrs to 17yrs) on a self-employed basis.
The applicant would be expected to offer appointments to meet our clients choice of funding which includes self-funding and private/corporate medical insurance funding. Flexibility would be required to meet clients flexibility around schooling.
We currently have our CAMHS therapy team in place offering our clients on-going treatment within Priory which offers a supportive multi-disciplinary approach. The applicant will be given full training on Priory CAMHS pathway and Priory systems.
An advantage would be to offer ADHD and ASC assessments but not a necessity.
